June V. Hughes, 91, of London, died very suddenly on Saturday, June 29, 2024, in Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born June 21, 1933, in Bloomingburg, she was a daughter of Loren Theodore Vincent and Mary Ellen (Yeoman) Vincent. June spent her career as the bookkeeper and secretary for the former London Truck and Tractor. Formerly a member of the London Lions Club, June made many good friends through her service. A woman of strong faith, she also was a member of the Newport United Methodist Church. She leaves behind her adoring husband of 71 magical years, Richard "Dick" Hughes; daughter Michelle "Micki" (Greg Buckley) Hughes; grandson Jordan (Ginny Kaelin) Hughes-Buckley and granddaughter Laurel (Kevin) Wong; great-grandchildren Alexis Hughes, Corinne Hughes and Connor Wong; brothers Les (Zana) Vincent, Bob Vincent and Rick (Karen) Vincent; and many nieces and nephews. June was preceded in death by her parents, as well as brothers Ted Vincent, Kenny Vincent, and Jack Vincent. Cremation
