Linda Kay Laymon Hynes, 83, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 5:20 p.m. at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe where she had been a patient since Saturday. Linda was born October 20, 1940, in Washington Court House to Harold R. and Ruth Elizabeth McGuire Laymon. She was a graduate of Washington High School and lived most of her life in this community. On January 10, 1962, she married Loren Drexel Hynes, Jr. He preceded her in death on July 24, 2007. Linda is survived by two sons, LD Hynes and his wife, Tammy Mayer Hynes, and Garth Hynes, all of Washington Court House; four grandchildren, Kristin (Kevin) Knisley, Jake Hynes, Taylor (Dalton) Dean and Katherine Hynes; a step grandson, Camron (Jennifer) Lindsey of North Carolina; five great grandchildren, Sarah, Conner, Zayne, Rylee and Jackson and a brother and sister-in-law, Harold D.
