LESLIE (LES) H. MERRITT age 65, of Washington Court House, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday March 7, 2025, at St. Catherine's Manor of Washington C.H. He was born December 8, 1959, in Fayette County to the late Dale and Carolyn Anthony Merritt.
Les was a 1978 graduate of Washington Senior High School. For more than fifteen years he worked at Ferno Washington and most recently in local retail stores. He had a big heart and liked to make people laugh. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Les also liked building things and tinkering in his garage.
Survivors include his mother, Carolyn A. Merritt; his daughters, Fawne "Micky" (Scott) Krape, Tawny (Dennis) Mitchell and Sara Merritt; his grandchildren, Logan, Addison and Beckett Krape, Branton (Kaylin), Jayden, Toby, and Lynlee Mitchell and his great granddaughter Ella. Also surviving is his brother, Kurt (Dawn) Merritt, his sister- in- law, Rhonda Merritt and special nieces, Kisha and Jamee M
